My Bio
Hey,

updating things around here a bit:

I'm an entrepreneur based out of Maryland with a primary focus in Clothing and Photography. I do a bit of graphic design, but nothing too spectacular.

A little bio:

Alexander P. Mann is an entrepreneur whom started the clothing line, Cranemann Designs. He graduated from the University of Hartford's Barney School of business with an entrepreneurial studies degree in 2010. He then moved back to his hometown of Potomac, Maryland to start his entrepreneurial dream. When he's not working on new clothing concepts you can find him working on his other passion; photography.

So, Since i'm still out a job, a friend of mine has given me some tasks for "business experience". As a marketing guy, I've decided to help. I'd appreciate if you could take the time to check out my friend's website and throw him a like on facebook if you can. He does amazing work in an art I hadn't seen before and he carries a strong zen-like aspect about his life. His target market is the philosophical thinker, but honestly, we all think philosophical at one point or another. His main focus in his art is to capture mini sculptures at the macro photography level along with up-cycled furniture he calls "gazing tables". Website: http://www.z

Thanks for the watch!

Hello!

Haven't heard from you in a while, I hope everything is OK with you.
Today's a special day: "Happy Birthday!"

- S.P.
Hey, thanks. I tend to disappear for a bit, come back etc. or just get lazy at responding to things. haha. i've been well. i'm currently in the application for my local police department. I applied once in July, got turned down due to "lack of speaking up", tried again and now i'm in the background investigation phase. I'm still about 2 months off from hearing anything. Academy starts Aug. 12th if i get in. I'm not entirely thrilled about being an officer, but at this time and age, i just need a decent career, and then move on to something new after some time.

Aside from that, I purchased a new camera (Nikon d50, with a new Macro 60mm prime lens).. umm, working out (took some time off and got out of shape again, haha).. and still doing work for the travel agency. I just recently saw my host family I haven't seen for about 6 years, and got some rice from their farm. :3

Other than that, life is pretty decent. Can't believe I'll be 26 in October this year, still living at home, no gf, and no real career. oh, and sold a few shirts to my friend's in Japan. (the shirt business is a little on hold until i get a full idea of how/where i want to go with it). but yea, how have you been?
Boy... I didn't think you's still remember me!
You've been away for so long, I was really curious about what had happened to you.

I am glad to hear that you're doing well, though. All that new photography gadget sounds cool, too. And I want to wish you all the best of luck with your application. It's getting harder and harder to apply to a job that has regular pension nowadays, I am afraid. With the economic downturn folks are scrambling to search for jobs with some kind of security (and being a policeman would certainly be counted as such). So... all the best of luck!

You know... between you and I... this economic downturn may or may not have played in your favour.
Folks nowadays won't have enough "float" cash in their pockets that they can spend on just things they like. They are much more likely to really pinch their pennies and get only what they need. It means fewer and fewer people will be willing to shell out $30 for a tee, even if they really like the pattern. On that front, business will surely suffer. But I think your original business plan was running on a lot of steam but not enough coal. And perhaps this downturn is just the right opportunity for you to build up something more substantial. I say, take the opportunity while you have it.

Me? Same old, same old. Going to work early in the morning and stay there for a 10, 12 hours or so. Working as a resident doctor in the local hospital now. Things have gotten a little more hectic and a little busier. But I still like the job and I like the people I work with (well, most of them at least). So... I'm learning to just take it day by day.
